Record the design conditions
Document substrate type, exposure, movement, moisture, traffic and texture requirements. Include operational constraints and any defects requiring further investigation.
Specify the complete installation
Define preparation, repairs, crack and joint details, primers, membrane where required, traffic layers, aggregate, sealer and demarcation. Confirm current product compatibility and coverage.
Define acceptance and handover
Agree inspection requirements, marking layout, reopening conditions and installation records. Provide system-specific cleaning and maintenance information at handover.
Specification evidence
Request current technical data for the proposed complete system. Confirm the relevant preparation method, moisture limits, movement capability, layer build-up, surface texture, application conditions and return-to-service requirements before installation.
