Privacy policy
How we handle your enquiries, project information and privacy rights.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Who is responsible for your information?
CarParkCoatings.com is the specialist car park coatings website operated by Ecoflor Resin Flooring. We are responsible for the personal information used to handle enquiries and projects through this website.
Contact us about privacy or your information at contact@ecoflor.co.uk, telephone 0333 1234 385, or write to 15 Neptune Court, Vanguard Way, Ocean Park, Cardiff, CF24 5PJ, United Kingdom.
Information we collect
When you request a quotation, contact us or arrange a survey, we receive the details you provide: your name, email address, company, telephone number, project location, approximate floor area, deck type, required services, programme and project description. You may also upload plans and photographs and provide further information during correspondence.
The quotation form requires your name, email address, project location and project details so we can assess and respond to your request. Other fields and uploads are optional. You can contact us by telephone or email instead. Please share only information relevant to your project, and remove unnecessary personal details, identifiable people, vehicle registration numbers and sensitive information from files where possible. If you provide another person's contact details, make sure you are authorised to share them and tell them about this policy.
How and why we use information
- Assess your requirements, answer questions, prepare quotations and arrange surveys.
- Plan access, preparation, installation and communication about an agreed project.
- Maintain necessary commercial records, deal with complaints and meet legal obligations.
- Protect the website and enquiry service from misuse.
Where you ask us to enter a contract with you personally, necessary enquiry and project handling is based on taking steps at your request before a contract or performing that contract. When you represent a business, our basis is legitimate interests: communicating with business contacts, evaluating projects and delivering our services. Necessary statutory records are handled to comply with legal obligations. We balance our legitimate interests against your rights.
A quotation enquiry does not sign you up for a newsletter or marketing mailing list. We do not sell your personal information. We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you solely by automated processing through this website.
Tally quotation form and file uploads
Our form is provided by Tally BV, Belgium. The embedded quotation form loads automatically when you visit our contact page and connects your browser to Tally; the separate form link also opens Tally. Tally processes submitted answers and uploaded files on our behalf. Completed enquiries are stored in our Tally account and notifications are sent to contact@ecoflor.co.uk. This means enquiry information may also be held in our email records.
Tally states that form data is stored in Europe and encrypted in transit and at rest. Its supporting providers include European hosting/storage services and a US-based email delivery service for notifications. See Tally's data processing and provider information, privacy policy and data processing agreement. File links should be treated as confidential and not forwarded unnecessarily.
Who may receive information
Information is used by the people handling your enquiry or project. Service providers supporting forms, email, hosting and IT may process it on our behalf. Where needed for an enquiry or agreed work, relevant project information may be shared with installation personnel, specialist subcontractors, suppliers or professional advisers. We limit this to what is needed for their role. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
UK, European and international processing
Enquiries from the UK and Europe are handled by our UK team. Although Tally stores form data in Europe, this does not mean every supporting service processes information only within the UK or European Economic Area. Tally's agreement provides for international transfer safeguards, including standard contractual clauses or another applicable lawful mechanism. Contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.
How long information is kept
Enquiry information and attachments are kept for the time needed to assess your request, provide a quotation and handle relevant follow-up. If work proceeds, relevant information becomes part of the project record. The retention period depends on the project, contractual obligations, applicable tax and accounting requirements, warranty matters, complaints and potential legal claims. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted or anonymised; unnecessary duplicate attachments should not be retained.
Retention applies to both Tally submissions and email copies. Removing a Tally submission does not itself remove a notification or exported copy. Tally describes its backup deletion arrangements in its provider information. Ask us about the retention applicable to your specific enquiry or project.
Website cookies and technical information
The website itself has no analytics or advertising cookies, advertising trackers or external font services. Loading the quotation form connects your browser to Tally; its service can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. See Tally's cookie information. Website hosting services may process request and security logs to deliver and protect the site. External sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights and choices
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing or a portable copy of information. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions.
Your right to object
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation, and object to direct marketing at any time. Email contact@ecoflor.co.uk to exercise this right or any other privacy right. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity; please do not send identity documents unless requested.
Questions and complaints
Please contact us first if you have a concern so we can investigate. You can also complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you are in the European Economic Area, you may also contact the data protection authority in your country of residence, work or the alleged infringement.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our website or information handling changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
