Key point
Resurfacing time includes preparation, repairs, coating layers, marking and curing. A fast resin cure time is not the same as the duration of the complete project.

Include every stage
Allow for mobilisation, removal, preparation, repairs, coating layers, markings and inspections. Defect extent can affect the programme more than the headline resin cure time.
Check application conditions
Temperature, humidity, ventilation and weather influence which systems can be installed and when. The selected system’s technical data sets application and reopening limits.
Agree return-to-service criteria
Confirm pedestrian and vehicle access requirements separately where appropriate. Reopening should follow the specified system conditions rather than an assumed universal time.
Specification evidence
Request current technical data for the proposed complete system. Confirm the relevant preparation method, moisture limits, movement capability, layer build-up, surface texture, application conditions and return-to-service requirements before installation.
